What’s included in a Vehicle Inspection

A comprehensive, independent assessment carried out on your behalf for a fee. Please enquire for a quotation.

Value & market context

We assess whether the asking price reflects the vehicle’s condition, mileage, age, and current market context. This provides a clear view of fair value and helps inform pricing discussions or buying decisions.

Condition & defects

A hands-on inspection of the vehicle’s overall condition, identifying visible and functional defects, wear and tear, damage, and inconsistencies. This includes bodywork, interior condition, tyres, trim, and general presentation.

Accident, repairs & paintwork

We assess the vehicle for signs of accident damage, repainting, or prior structural and cosmetic repairs. Where repairs are present, workmanship and quality are reviewed to ensure they align with acceptable standards.

Mechanical & diagnostics

A basic diagnostic scan is conducted to identify fault codes, electronic issues, and underlying system warnings that may not yet be visible during everyday use. This helps highlight potential mechanical concerns early.

History & compliance

We verify ownership history, service records, salvage indicators, HPI and police interest status, and vehicle licensing to ensure the car is legitimate, compliant, and accurately represented.

Road performance & assets
